Starlink: Battle for Atlas

Hello my fans,

Today I am going to talk to you about

Starlink: Battle for Atlas.

The game is based in the Atlas star system.  The player’s mothership has been ambushed by the Forgotten Legion, and crashes on a nearby planet and the captain has been taken hostage.

The Legion’s leader, Grax, is interested in an extinct race called the Wardens, who left a lot of their ancient technology behind.  Grax wants to use this technology for his own legion, and is a constant threat to the player throughout their journey.

Starlink is a third-person space exploration/fighting game. There is a lot of flying between planets and you get to control the ship, and if you’ve been to a planet before you get to use Hyperspace to get you there quicker. You also get to choose your ship and customise it (have I mentioned before that customising ships and characters is my favourite thing?).

The graphics are a cartoony-style with a bit of realism. It’s an open galaxy but you still have to follow the story order, although there are some side missions.

I wouldn’t say it’s a hard game but it’s tricky in places. If you like third-person shooters, or space exploration games, this is a good one.

I’d give this game a 6.5 out of 10.

Chat later,

Bobby
