Welcome.
For much of my life I've written for a living. Mostly news-related for newspapers and magazines.
In more recent years, I’ve written two full-blooded musicals and two musical revues (all of which are available for hire... my agent would doubtlessly tell me to add ... if I had an agent). Here are links to those shows.
That's what I have that is finished. I have a few other shows, books and scripts up my sleeve, if I can just find the time to finish them.
I'm a full member of the Australian Writers Guild and graduated the Scriptwriting for Theatre course at UNE with a High Distinction as part of my degree. I’ve also turned my hand at a few other forms of creative writing.
Additionally, I've regurgitated blogs here that I've previously printed elsewhere (along with some new ones) and included some content from influences that I've found inspirational.
So this page is essentially a signal of hope that I will do more, a place to store information about those shows, and potentially a launching pad for more. Or it's just a vanity page and a blog. You choose.
My wife Janet is also very creative and we will feature some of her work on here. Ditto my son Bobby, who has already written a small children's book and a short musical play at the tender age of 11. My other two kids are also very creative and there's room here for them should they choose in the future too.
So it’s a place for me and my family to showcase our creative work, and hopefully there will be some so that this isn't a complete waste.
Anyway, it is what it is and maybe one day something more. I hope there's something of interest here for you.
