Titanfall 2

Hello my fans,

Today I am going to talk about

Titanfall 2.

Titanfall 2 is a first-person shooter and a follow up to Titanfall.  In Titanfall 2, players can control both a pilot and their Titans, which are mecha-style exoskeletons. The pilot has a large variety of abilities that improve their efficiency during combat.

The main character is Jack Cooper, a rifleman in the Militia, who wants to one day become a pilot on the front lines of the war against the IMC (Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation). Cooper’s training is cut short when an attack on the IMC-held planet of Typhon is underway.

In the initial battle, the Apex Predators, led by Blisk who are assisting the IMC, kill Cooper’s mentor, Captain Lastimosa and incapacitate his Vanguard-class Atlas Titan, BT-7274.

As his final action as Captain, Lastimosa transfers authorization of BT to Cooper. After restoring power to the damaged Titan, BT explains Lastimosa’s mission Special Operation 217: to rendezvous with Major Anderson and assist in the completion of their original assignment.

I have to say right up front that I love this game. It has good graphics (not as good as the new Spiderman game for example but still pretty good) but the gameplay is very addictive and you can’t wait to get back to the game.

I think it’s great in the online mode that you get to choose what type your Titan is … the types are: Ion, Scorch, Tone, Northstar, Monarch and Legion. My favourite was Northstar because you get to hover over your enemies and get a higher ground advantage.

Even though it’s just a game, I felt a little bit attache to my Titan (BT) so they must have done a good job with the story-telling.

As I said, I love this game… I’d give it 8.5 out of 10.

Chat later,

Bobby
